Microscopic image of hyphae of Aspergillus niger. A. niger was inoculated on a piece of corn-meal agar medium and cultured for 7 days by slide-culture method for cross-sectional observation. The lower part in photo indicates the hyphae inside the medium, and upper part indicates the hyphae outside the medium, including aerial hyphae, the hyphae crawling on the glass and conidia.
