Month before WarsawUprising: Intresection of Aleje Ujazdowskie and Piusa XI Street (today called Piękna Street) viewed from North. On the oposite side of the street visible townhouses (from the left) at Al. Ujazdowskie 17 [1] and 19 [2]. Behind the trees hidden from view is building of Aleja Ujazdowskie 23 [3] housing Headquarters for Warsaw district of SS and Police. In front of that building Polish underground executed Franz Kutschera.
