A spherical triangle ABC, with median AM (green). A is at the pole and M lies on the equator. As BM = MC = MC then AM is also a bisector to A. ACM has equal area to AC'M. Thus AM does not divide the area of ABC in two triangles with equal area, Also as the center of mass of ACMC' obviously lies on AM it is obvious that the center of mass of ABC cannot lie on AM.
