FARAH CITY, Afghanistan (Jan. 8, 2013) Lt. Mike Quaglino, operations officer for Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Farah, watches as Hospital Corpsman Brian Mays, a medic for the PRT, clears his M4 carbine upon returning from a mission. The mission to the director of agriculture, irrigation and livestock facilities was to evaluate progress on a demonstration greenhouse project being built to connect Farahi farmers and the government. PRT Farah's mission is to train, advise, and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district, and provincial levels in Farah province Afghanistan. Their civil military team is comprised of members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. j.g.
