The dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), amphibious transport dock ship USS Shreveport (LPD 12) and the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) pass the Mubarak Peace Bridge while transiting the Suez Canal as they depart U.S. Naval Central Command area of responsibility (AOR). Bataan got underway Jan. 4. for a regularly scheduled deployment as the flagship of the Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group in support of maritime operations.
