The views from the top of the main tower of the fortress are grey.
Kamerengo Fortress was erected soon after 1400, when Trogir became part of the Republic of Venice. The fortress is a result of an addition to the original Tower of Chains which was built in 1380. Originally, the fortress was surrounded by a moat and on the north and east sides there was a wide mound providing defence.
